Article I – Name
This organization shall be known as the Orlando Air Cargo Association
operating as a non-profit organization.
Article II – Purpose
The purpose of this association is to enhance the communication within
the air cargo community relating to an exchange of views regarding:

Trade and commerce
-
Regulatory information
-
Industry improvements
-
Government functions
-
Educational developments
Article III – Membership
Any individual actively engaged in having a business interest in
promoting air cargo as a viable mode of transportation may apply for
membership.
Membership classifications are:
1.
Active Member: Those members actively
functioning within the Greater Orlando Area.
2.
Inactive Members: Those members not
actively functioning within the Greater Orlando Area.
3.
Honorary Members: Outstanding
individuals who have contributed to the purpose of this association
and have been approved by the Board of Directors.
It
shall be understood that members in good standing are those who have
paid their dues on time, those who represent their respective
companies, country and this association honorably, and those who
actively attend and participate in the various functions sanctioned by
this association.
Article IV – Officers and Directors

The Officers of this association shall be:

President
-
1st Vice President
-
2nd Vice President
-
Secretary
-
Treasurer
-
The officers of the association, the most recent past president,
and the five active members elected by the membership shall
constitute the Board of Directors. The Chairman of the Board of
Directors shall be the President as elected for the current year.

The officers and directors of this association shall perform and
discharge such duties and responsibilities as defined in the
By-Laws.

The Intent of the association is to maintain a Board of Directors
and officers that represent a cross section of the air cargo
community
Article V – Meetings
The meetings of this association she be in accordance it the schedule
as set forth in the By-Laws.
Article VI – Committees
Committees for special functions may be appointed by the President and
its Board of Directors.
Article VII – Amendments
The articles of this constitution may be amended by a two-thirds vote
of the membership present at any meeting of the association provided
that notice of such amendment is made in writing by the Secretary to
each member not less that fifteen (15) days prior to the meeting at
which the amendment will be voted upon.
Article VIII – Adoption of Constitution
This Constitution is effective immediately upon adoption by the
membership. Subsequent to adoption, the Secretary shall retain an
official copy thereof and shall have this copy present at all meetings
of the association and of the Board of Directors. A copy shall be made
available to any member of the association upon request.
Witness this day June 13, 1989, the
Orlando Air Cargo Association’s constitution was ratified unanimously.
