The cocktail party, June 7, 2008, arranged and hosted
by Karen Barry at her home, was a huge success. That was my last night
as president of the Orlando Air Cargo Association and Karen presented
me with a beautiful plaque. The last two years have been a learning
experience and I want to thank all the members who helped me do my
best to bring you the information you need and do it in a way that I
hope was fun. I want to thank all the officers, board members and
membership for their support and for giving me the opportunity to help
the Association and to grow and develop personally during the past two
years. I will continue to help and support the Association in the
future.
As Ex Officio, I, along with the committee, Karen Barry, Sandi
Vennel, and Kimberley Brooks are in the process of putting together
the biggest and best Holiday Gala ever. The date is December 20, 2008,
so save that date. The Wyndham Hotel and Resort on Sand Lake Road and
International Drive has given us a great deal, lower costs than last
year and we are planning a few extraordinary surprises for your
entertainment. Tickets will be for sale at the Membership Lunch
scheduled for August 2008, watch for the announcement for the exact
date.
